About me
Biography Leonie Stoiber
After graduating with high honors from “Musisches Gymnasium” in Salzburg, the Austrian soprano Leonie Stoiber continued her vocal studies at the CANTA Studio with Mario Diaz in Salzburg.
Since 2015 she is studying „Performing Arts - Solo Singing“ at Mozarteum University with Ildikó Raimondi. In October 2017 she was invited to the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg, Russia, to study with Maria Lyudko.
As a member of the Salzburg Bach Choir she has participated at the Salzburg Festival and the International Mozart Week several times, working with conductors as Mark Minkovsky, Ivor Bolton and Ádam Fischer. At the Salzburg Oper im Berg Festival she has performed Papagena in „The Magic Flute“. Leonie Stoiber sang the roles of Due Donne in „Le Nozze di Figaro“ and “Cobweb“ in Britten’s „A Midsummer Nights Dream“ at the Mozarteum Opera Studio.
Leonie Stoiber regularly performs as an interpreter of lieder and has given concerts in Germany, Italy, Portugal and Russia. 2017 she has been acknowledged first prize in the Zarskoje Selo Competition in Pushkin, Russia.
